3rd concept run at Hypersleep chamber -"Pandorum"(film)
My first thought was Pandorum before I got as far as the text, so I'd say definately successful.
The design aspects of the image are superb. The tech looks believable, real and with superb attention to detail. There is a strong composition, and nice use of local light to focus the eye around the image. The neutral/cool colors contrast well with the warm flesh tones of the primary focus figure. The story is compelling, with the broken chamber provoking a whole new investigation of the scene after the viewer has completed his primary read of the scene. Sight lines are good and strong, nice contrast between organic and machined shapes. The attention to detail in the cradle design with its soft curves make it instantly understandable where our character has come from, by relating the organic curves to the body. Generally a superb piece, with no negatives.
